Greetings,

We have come to the end of another year, a year in which we completed the celebration of the Union's 75th Anniversary.

2009 was a very active year for the Union, with four major events being held. Our ever popular Fete With The Saints (FWTS) was held on January 31st.

This was followed by the Members' Biennial Dinner held on May 2nd and almost immediately followed by the most anticipated Dinning With The Saints (DWTS) on June 27th. The final event was the 7th Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony held on October 12th.

The successful outcome of these events was due in no small way to the hardworking members of the Management Committee and members of the various Sub-Committees. I take this opportunity to sincerely thank all of them for their significant efforts and contributions. The funds raised through FWTS and DWTS facilitated the Union making substantial contributions to the College in the form of new microscopes, portable multi-media equipment for use in the classrooms and a new 30-Seater Bus.

Of course, the needs of the College are many and varied, with the next major project being the airconditioning of the Centenery Hall. Your continued support of our events and the encouragement of your friends and family members to also do so will go a long way in assisting the Union in making this mammoth undertaking a reality.
